The first two years of a child (ps: Happy Birthday CarboHyde!)

The first two years of a child bring immense happiness to his/her family. Yet, it has to be recognized that it is also full of challenges, tough periods, sicknesses, and long nights for the parents. There are also many friends and family members who take part in supporting the first years of the baby. Without them, the parents just wouldn’t be able to manage on their own.

These first years are full of discovery and growth. From those first tentative steps to the emergence of words and the opening personality, every milestone reached is met with pride by loved ones. The second birthday is a reminder of the passage of time and the beauty of witnessing a child’s journey from infancy to toddlerhood.

As the child blows out the candles on the birthday cake, surrounded by adoring family and friends, there is a sense of infinite possibilities for the years that lie ahead. Happy Birthday CarboHyde

Carbohyde Welcomes French Students from Strasbourg for an Insightful Visit

We are thrilled to express our gratitude for the recent visit from a group of bright students from University of Strasbourg to Carbohyde. The enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the students were truly inspiring.

During their visit, the students engaged in meaningful discussions, asking insightful questions about our research and development activities. It was a pleasure to witness their passion for science and witness the curiosity that drives the next generation of scientists.

At Carbohyde, we are committed to fostering an environment that encourages learning and collaboration. Hosting such dynamic groups of students aligns with our mission to inspire and contribute to the future of pharmaceutical research. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the students from Strasbourg for their keen interest and look forward to more opportunities to share our knowledge and experiences with the scientific community.

Educational material on cyclodextrins is available

In the past few years, we have created dozens of educational materials on various uses of cyclodextrin, such as complex preparation, monoclonal antibody formulation, uses in vaccines, gene therapy, and various non-pharma applications.

We collected these decks for you in two easy-to-digest platforms.

Here you can find (and download) the decks: https://www.carbohydesolutions.com/natures-gift-for-mankind-are-cyclodextrins/

On our YouTube channel, you can watch them as short videos:

Bicyclos starting!

As we reported earlier CarboHyde is part of an EU-sponsored 4-year long staff-exhange project, Bicyclos.

Bicyclos is a staff exchange project funded by the Horizon Europe Framework Programme after successful application in the call HORIZON-MSCA-2022-SE-01-01. The project started on September 1st, 2023. We are 9 beneficiaries and 2 associated partners coming from 8 countries in Europe and America. We are all interested in fostering progress of cyclodextrins in biomedical applications.

During this project, CarboHyde staff will spend 30+ months abroad and will host students for 40+ months in the upcoming 4 years doing high level science on moonshot projects – of course, all based on cyclodextrins.

Now its time to start our first journey, as our excellent chemist, Kristóf Felegyi is going to Seville for 5 months to make some fancy compounds at the lab of Jose Manuel Garcia Fernandez.

Farewell Kristof, we expect you back soon!
